Peter Qualified as a Fellow Legal Executive in 1977 and became a Licensed Conveyancer in 1988 and is now an experienced professional who specialises in providing legal services. Licensed Conveyancers are specialists in Property Law and as with all true professionals are required to observe strict standards of professional conduct. All Licensed Conveyancers are governed by the rules of The Council for Licensed Conveyancers.

Peter began his career with a large practice in Mayfair, London but moved to Heathfield and having worked in the area for over 31 years Peter has gained great relationships with estate agents who have always been more than happy to refer clients due to the high level of service given to each client on an individual basis.
Bailey & Co. have been established as Licensed Conveyancers in Heathfield since 1986, although Peter Bailey, the principal and qualified Licensed Conveyancer, has been in the legal profession for over 50 years

Licensed Conveyancers are the alternative to Solicitors in providing Conveyancing services. Bailey & Co. prides itself on providing a friendly, efficient and cost effective service, which means we do not have to fiercely advertise but have built our business on personal recommendations.

In September 2003, Peter Bailey moved to new premises in the High Street, Heathfield, following the retirement of the surviving partner in the practice known as Swann Evans. This enabled Bailey & Co to expand by employing more staff to run a busy Conveyancing department.
